Refund Policy
Last Updated: January 28, 2026 At Black Diamond Wellness & DNA, we strive to provide exceptional service, clear communication, and professional experience for every client. Because many of our services involve time sensitive scheduling, third party laboratory fees, and specialized materials, our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with industry standards. 1. General Refund Policy All sales for wellness services, DNA collections, mobile appointments, and laboratory related services are final once the appointment has been completed or once materials have been issued. Refunds are not provided for: •Completed services •Missed appointments •Late cancellations •DNA kits that have been opened, used, or registered •Services involving third party laboratory fees However, certain situations may qualify for partial refunds or rescheduling options, as outlined below. 2. Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling A. Cancellations Made 24 Hours or More in Advance •May be eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future appointment. •Credits must be used within 90 days. B. Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours in Advance •Not eligible for a refund. •A rescheduling fee may apply. C. No Show Appointments •No refunds or credits are issued. •A new appointment must be booked at full price. 3. DNA Testing Services DNA testing involves third party laboratories, chain of custody procedures, and nonrefundable lab fees. For this reason: A. Once a DNA Collection Has Been Performed •No refunds are available. •Lab fees cannot be reversed or canceled. B. If a Client Cancels Before the Collection Appointment •If canceled 24+ hours in advance, a partial refund may be issued minus: oLab fees oAdministrative fees oShipping or kit costs (if applicable) C. If a DNA Kit Has Been Issued or Shipped •Kits are non refundable, even if unused. •This includes at home kits and chain of custody kits. 4. Wellness Services For wellness consultations, screenings, or mobile wellness services: •Refunds are not available once the service has been performed. •If a client is dissatisfied with their experience, we encourage them to contact us so we can address concerns and offer solutions when possible. 5. Mobile Service Fees Mobile service fees cover travel time, fuel, and appointment blocking. These fees are: •Nonrefundable once travel has begun •Charged again if the appointment must be rescheduled due to client unavailability 6. Service Delays Beyond Our Control We do not issue refunds for delays caused by: •Laboratory processing times •Weather conditions •Courier or shipping delays •Government office closures (e.g., Secretary of State, DPS) •Acts of nature or emergencies We will always communicate updates promptly and work to minimize disruptions. 7. Errors or Service Issues If an error occurs on our part, we will: •Correct the issue promptly •Offer a recollection or reservice at no additional cost •Provide a partial refund only when appropriate and at our discretion 8.
